Europress is the only company in the industry that applies the Nitreg® ONC® treatment as a standard finish for all its products, carrying out the process directly in its own facilities. This is an advanced thermochemical process that begins with a nitriding phase followed by controlled oxidation. The result is a deep transformation of the steel’s surface chemical structure, giving it high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance.
To complete the treatment, a special technical oil impregnates the surface, sealing its porosity and making it virtually impervious to corrosive agents. Salt spray tests conducted in accordance with ASTM B117 standards have shown resistance exceeding 300 hours—a result that places Europress products among the highest performing on the market under the most challenging environmental conditions.
