The company
Our journey began in 1919 with the founding of Raffaele Rimassa. For more than a century, Europress has been a leader in the design and manufacture of high‑pressure hydraulic components. With a product range covering pressures from 700 to 4000 bar, we offer both standard and custom solutions to meet the most demanding needs of the industrial, infrastructure, and maintenance sectors.
We manufacture entirely in Italy, in Carasco (GE), within an advanced production facility of over 6,000 m² that gives us full control over quality, costs and delivery timing. All our products are processed in‑house, without outsourcing, and every batch of steel used is tested both before and after production. This approach ensures maximum reliability and traceability at every stage of the supply chain.
Thanks to our direct presence in Germany and the United Kingdom — via our offices in Nuremberg (a company born of the agreement between Europress and the major German group Roemheld, specialized in hydraulic locking and industrial automation) and in Norwich — we guarantee fast and widespread distribution in international markets as well.
We are a reliable, dynamic, and innovative company. We design and build high‑pressure hydraulic products with the aim of exceeding our customers’ expectations in terms of quality, reliability, and service. We aspire to be the global benchmark for quality high‑pressure hydraulics, promoting innovation, sustainability, and customization in products and solutions.
Our customers can count on prompt technical support, training courses delivered either at our headquarters or at the customer’s site, labeling and packaging optimized for storage and transport, and a fast, efficient logistics network. Every product is traceable over time thanks to laser marking. Our hydraulic power units, like all components, comply with the main international standards (ISO, CE, ANSI, EN) and come with a one‑year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

Our history
Europress traces its roots back to 1919, the year Raffaele Rimassa was founded—one of the first European companies specializing in the distribution of high-pressure hydraulic products. It was a pioneering era, when fluid power was beginning to find its place in the most complex industrial applications, and entrepreneurial vision merged with precision mechanics.
Over the 20th century, growing demand for reliable, high-performance solutions led Rimassa to expand its network of suppliers, expertise, and application areas, building a reputation grounded in quality and technical knowledge.
A new chapter began in 1993: Euro Press Pack acquired the historic RARIPRESS brand, inheriting its wealth of experience, know-how, and international presence. The acquisition marked more than a change in ownership—it was a turning point that launched a deep process of technological redesign. Every product was updated to meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance, to respond more effectively to an increasingly demanding and competitive market.
Three years later, in 1996, Europress achieved ISO 9001 certification, confirming a robust, traceable, and continuously improving quality system. In 2008, the company also obtained ISO 14001 certification, recognizing its concrete commitment to sustainable production practices. All our processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, and products are tested according to strict internal procedures to ensure compliance and safety.
Europress’s continuous drive for innovation and internationalization has strengthened its presence in strategic European markets. This led to the establishment of offices in Nuremberg, Germany, and Norwich, United Kingdom. The first—born from a partnership with the Roemheld Group, specialists in clamping systems and industrial automation—has become a key logistics hub for Central Europe. The second consolidates our presence in the UK market, with an agile commercial structure focused on direct customer support.
Today, Europress is a solid and dynamic company, with deep roots in Italy and a constant focus on the future. In-house production, the ability to develop custom solutions, fast delivery times, and the use of proprietary technologies such as Nitreg® ONC® treatment make Europress a benchmark in the international high-pressure hydraulics sector. A history spanning over a century, continuing every day with precision, evolution, and trust.
